Nokken’s Super Sauna represents a modular solution for hospitality operators seeking to introduce high-end wellness amenities to their properties. The prefabricated structure arrives fully assembled and can be operational within 24 hours, responding to a growing demand for therapeutic retreats in the travel sector. By leveraging the expertise gained from their design studio, the founders have focused on creating flexible, bespoke modular cabins that provide an opportunity for travellers and guests to connect with nature in fully immersive ways.
A Plug-and-Play Approach
The brand aims to blend nature with hotel comforts, allowing venues to offer immersive restorative experiences without extensive construction time. The Super Sauna is designed to connect easily to existing site frameworks.
The commercial-grade unit accommodates ten people and features a minimalist aesthetic. Thermo-spruce and -pine clad the interior and exterior, including the floors and multi-tiered benches. A dual stainless-steel cold plunge system chills water to three degrees, paired with an outdoor shower to complete the contrast therapy ritual. The 10-metre-long sauna has a streamlined profile and restrained materials palette, lending visual warmth to the physical heat therapy.
Customizable for the Environment
Nokken offers two primary models tailored to specific environments. The Black Edition presents a dark, deep finish suited for dense forests and rugged coastlines, while the Baja Edition uses lighter materials to suit deserts and sunlit beaches. Both versions emphasize the natural surroundings as an integral part of the guest experience.
